About Me

Welcome – I'm Fulden, and I'm so glad you're here.

I’m a mental health professional, coach, and fellow mum navigating the beautiful chaos of life - just like you.

With over 16 years of experience in the NHS supporting people through anxiety, depression, burnout, and crisis, I know how overwhelming it can feel when you're trying to keep everything together on the outside while crumbling a little on the inside.

I also know what it’s like when life throws a curveball you never saw coming - like being handed your child’s allergy diagnosis and having to re-learn how to parent, advocate, and breathe.

My Professional Life – Walking with People Through Their Hardest Moments

Throughout my NHS career, I’ve worked in a range of mental health settings: from inpatient wards to community teams and crisis services.

I’ve sat with people in their most vulnerable states—when intrusive thoughts, emotional pain, or complete overwhelm took over.

What’s mattered most to me, again and again, is connection. Quickly building trust. Showing up with compassion and humanity. Supporting people through their storm, and helping them find the strength to carry on—because it's there, even if they can’t see it yet.

That passion for mental and emotional wellbeing continues to guide everything I do.

Recently, I faced a significant period of stress and burnout in my own professional journey, prompting me to seek a transformative way forward. It was during this time that I discovered coaching training (through Chartered Management Institute (CMI)) and experienced profound personal insights through my own coaching sessions. Armed with newfound clarity on life priorities, I have implemented meaningful changes that have positively impacted my approach. Drawing upon these invaluable learnings, I now infuse my coaching sessions with energy, enthusiasm, and practical wisdom.

My Personal Journey – From Burnout to Balance

Even with all my training and tools, I’ve had my own struggles. Like many working parents, I hit a point of burnout. I was drained, stretched too thin, and questioning whether life was meant to feel this hard.

That experience led me to coaching - and it was transformational.

Through coaching, I gained clarity on what truly matters to me. I created more space in my life for joy, rest, and purpose. I began aligning my choices with my values. And that changed everything—not just for me, but for my family too.

Navigating Allergies – Becoming the Advocate I Never Knew I’d Need to Be

One of the biggest emotional turning points for me came when my daughter was diagnosed with multiple food allergies. Suddenly, life became an endless checklist:

- What’s in this food?

- Did I pack the meds?

- Will she be safe at this party?

- Will anyone understand?

There were tears. And sleepless nights. And guilt - oh, so much guilt!

But slowly, through trial, error, and a lot of deep breaths, I found our rhythm.

I learned to advocate fiercely for her while teaching her to advocate for herself.

I worked hard to rebuild our routines so life could feel more “normal” again.

And I found my voice in speaking up - for her, for myself, and for other allergy families who often feel isolated and overwhelmed.

How I Can Support You – Coaching with Heart, Purpose, and Lived Experience

Now, I blend everything I’ve learned - through my professional training, my personal growth, and my parenting journey - into coaching sessions that support you.

Whether you're:

- Feeling burnt out and constantly running on empty,

- Struggling with a life transition, like a new diagnosis or major change,

- Finding it hard to make decisions, set boundaries, or reconnect with what matters,

- Craving clarity, balance, or a deeper sense of meaning

…I’m here to help.

My coaching is rooted in compassion, practical tools, and real-life experience. I won’t throw jargon at you or pretend I have all the answers. But I will hold space for you, challenge you with kindness, and walk beside you as you find your own way forward.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

I truly believe we all have a choice in how we respond to challenges. We can stay stuck in survival mode - or we can get curious, choose growth, and find the courage to move toward the life we want.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or just unsure what comes next, coaching can give you the clarity, structure, and support you need.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you reach out. Just bring your honest self - and we’ll take it from there.

Training & Resources – Mental Health and Beyond

In addition to 1:1 coaching, I also offer:

- Mental Health First Aid Training – for individuals, families, or teams,

- Tailored workshops – on managing anxiety, building resilience, and understanding mental health,

- Support for parents and carers – especially those navigating food allergies, eczema, or asthma in children,

Let’s Begin Your Journey

Whether you're seeking balance, clarity, strength - or just some space to breathe - I’d love to connect with you. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Together, we can turn challenge into clarity - and fear into forward motion.

Your story matters.

Let’s write the next chapter with purpose.

With warmth,

Fulden
